Setting up a new tank
Does a starter kit include everything?
Each listing states exactly what is in the box. Most kits include the tank, hood, light and filter; substrate, conditioner and decor are usually bought separately.
Do you sell bare tanks?
Yes — bare glass tanks are listed under Glass Tanks, without hoods or filtration, for people rebuilding an existing setup.
Are the plants and decor safe for fish?
The decor we stock is aquarium-grade artificial plant and ornament material intended for permanent submersion. Species-specific notes are in the listing where they matter.
How is a tank packed for shipping?
Glass goes out double-boxed. If a tank arrives damaged, contact us with photos and our return and refund policy explains the process.
What are your opening hours?
Mon–Thu 09:00–17:00 and Friday 14:00–19:00. We are closed Saturday and Sunday; email is answered on the next business day.
